CROYDON
Brick by Brick (BxB), the council-owned housing developer that played a large part in the London borough's bankruptcy, is entering its final throes.

MARKET HARBOROUGH
Secrecy surrounds the process whereby a bungalow was bought by the local council for £920,000 when it had recently been valued at, er, just £303,000.

CAMDEN
The London borough's £130m lawsuit against firms which had regenerated a council estate has ended with five firms paying a settlement of £19m.

POOLE
If the council's pricey purchase of Barclays House in Poole goes ahead, it will be Barclays Bank which will be laughing all the way to the, er, bank.
